Iran-Russia 19th Joint Economic Commission Set for Tehran

TEHRAN : The 19th Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission will be held in Tehran from 16 to 18 February, with both sides expressing optimism about expanding bilateral cooperation, Iran’s Minister of Oil Mohsen Paknejad said.

Paknejad highlighted the importance of the strategic relationship between Iran and Russia, urging officials and organizations to create favorable conditions for achieving common goals and accelerating priority projects.

Expert-level meetings on 16–17 February will review and formulate agreements across trade, energy, transportation, finance and banking, peaceful nuclear energy, healthcare, and other economic sectors. Final cooperation documents are scheduled to be signed on 18 February.

Addressing regional and international dynamics, Paknejad noted that enhanced economic cooperation between Iran and Russia can significantly promote the economic potential of both nations.
