Poland Urges Citizens Leave Iran Amid Rising Tensions

Warsaw: Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk has instructed Polish citizens to immediately leave Iran, warning that evacuation may become impossible within hours due to the risk of war in the region.

According to a foreign news agency, Tusk cautioned that rapidly escalating tensions could soon prevent any organized departure. In a statement issued on Thursday, he urged Polish nationals to leave Iran without delay and advised against traveling to the country under any circumstances.

“Please leave Iran immediately, and do not travel to the country in any situation,” the prime minister said.

The warning from the Polish government comes amid growing concerns over heightened regional tensions and the possibility of a wider military confrontation.

Separately, US media have claimed that the United States military could launch an attack on Iran by the end of this week, although President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision.

Citing officials, US media reported that extensive deliberations are underway, with military and political aspects under close review. President Trump is said to be spending considerable time weighing the potential consequences.

US media further reported that military personnel have completed preparations and remain on alert for any emergency operations in the region.

Meanwhile, amid fears of a possible US strike on Iran, Israel has placed its security forces on high alert and advised citizens to remain close to bomb shelters.
