Pakistan UK Leaders Pledge Strengthened Bilateral Cooperation Efforts

On the sidelines of the high-level United Nations Security Council (#UNSC) meeting on #Palestine in New York, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met with UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Affairs Yvette Cooper, who chaired the briefing. DPM Ishaq Dar appreciated her for convening the important meeting.

The two leaders reviewed Pakistan–UK relations and underscored the importance of sustained high-level engagement. They agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors, including enhanced people-to-people exchanges.

They also exchanged views on key regional and international developments, reaffirming their commitment to dialogue, multilateralism, and effective cooperation, including within the United Nations framework.
