Pakistan Urges Immediate Diplomatic De-Escalation

ISLAMABAD : Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, received a telephone call from Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of Iran, to discuss the evolving situation in Iran and the wider region.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders reviewed recent developments amid heightened regional tensions. The discussion focused on the security environment and diplomatic efforts aimed at containing the crisis.

Dar Condemns Attacks on Iran in Call

Dar strongly condemned what he described as unwarranted attacks against Iran and emphasized the need for an immediate halt to further escalation. He called for the urgent resumption of diplomatic engagement to achieve a peaceful and negotiated resolution to the crisis.
