Ghazab-Lil-Haq updated 435 Killed, 630 Injured

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar on Sunday shared the latest operational details of Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq, outlining updated figures regarding reported losses inflicted on Afghan Taliban forces.

Afghan Taliban Suffer Heavy Casualties in Clashes

According to the statement issued by information minister a total of 435 operatives affiliated with the Afghan Taliban regime have been killed, while more than 630 others were injured during ongoing operations.

The minister further stated that 188 check posts belonging to the Afghan Taliban were destroyed and 31 posts were taken over. In addition, 188 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery units were reported destroyed as part of the operation.

Security Operations Leave Hundreds of Taliban Casualties

Officials said that 51 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted through aerial operations. Security sources described the strikes as part of a broader response to what they termed unprovoked aggression along the Pak-Afghan border.

According to security officials, Pakistan’s armed forces continue to carry out strong and sustained retaliatory actions against Afghan Taliban positions. They stated that the operation remains active across multiple fronts.

Airstrikes Target Military Sites Across Afghanistan

Security sources also confirmed that Pakistani forces destroyed an ammunition depot in Khost linked to Afghan Taliban elements and associated groups. The action was described as part of efforts to neutralize logistical and operational capabilities.

In a separate development, officials said that during effective counter-operations, an ammunition depot and a drone storage site in Jalalabad were also destroyed. The strikes were described as precise and targeted.

Security authorities stated that Afghan Taliban forces are facing setbacks across various fronts following what they called unprovoked aggression at the border. They maintained that Pakistan’s armed forces are continuing decisive and effective operations in response.

Officials emphasized that military positions and installations linked to Afghan Taliban forces are being targeted in a coordinated manner. They reiterated that operations are aimed at addressing cross-border hostilities and ensuring national security.
