555 Killed in Iran Amid US-Israeli Strikes

TEHRAN: A total of 555 people have been killed across Iran in strikes carried out by the United States and Israel over the past two days, the Iranian Red Crescent Society said Monday.

Iran Red Crescent Reports Casualties in 131 Cities

In a statement posted on Telegram, the humanitarian organization said that following what it described as “Zionist-American terrorist attacks” in various regions of the country, 131 cities have been affected so far.

“Following the Zionist-American terrorist attacks carried out in various regions of our country, 131 cities have been affected to date and, regrettably, 555 of our compatriots have been killed,” the group said.

Conflict Death Toll Rises After Two Days

The reported death toll marks a significant escalation in casualties since the start of the strikes two days ago. The Red Crescent did not provide a breakdown of civilian or military casualties, nor did it specify the locations with the highest number of fatalities.

The statement did not elaborate on the number of injured individuals or the extent of infrastructure damage across the affected cities. Authorities have not released additional operational details regarding the ongoing strikes.
