Security sources stated that Pakistan Army personnel foiled an infiltration attempt near Torkham. During the operation, an Afghan Taliban commander identified as Qaharman was killed along with his associates.
According to officials, the commander was affiliated with militants operating out of Jalalabad. The attempted incursion was intercepted before militants could penetrate deeper into Pakistani territory.
Sources added that the Pakistani military’s forceful response inflicted significant losses on Afghan Taliban elements involved in cross-border aggression. No further operational details were immediately released.
