Jennifer Aniston Plans Dinner to Introduce New Partner Jim Curtis to Brad Pitt
Jennifer Aniston is reportedly preparing to introduce her new partner, wellness coach Jim Curtis, to her ex-husband Brad Pitt as their relationship continues to grow.
According to a source quoted by Heat magazine, the Friends star—who confirmed her romance with Curtis late last year—wants to avoid any awkwardness given her long-standing friendship with Pitt. The insider said Aniston believes an early meeting would be the healthiest approach.
The planned dinner is also expected to include Pitt’s girlfriend, jewelry executive Ines de Ramon, who is said to be completely comfortable with the idea.
“Brad isn’t someone Jen sees very often, but they are still good friends and their lives are intertwined,” the source said. “She doesn’t want to tiptoe around that with Jim.”
The insider added that bringing everyone together sooner rather than later makes sense. “The sooner they can all sit down for dinner and get to know each other, the better.”
The gathering would also mark the first real opportunity for Aniston and de Ramon to spend time together. “Ines is actually looking forward to it,” the source said. “She’s not threatened by Jen at all.”
Curtis is reportedly supportive of the plan as well. “Jim is all for it,” the insider said. “He’s heard a lot about Brad from Jen and her friends and thinks he sounds like a great guy. He’s curious to meet him.”
Describing Curtis as confident and secure, the source added that meeting Aniston’s ex-husband isn’t intimidating for him.
Pitt is also said to be fully supportive of the situation. According to the source, the actor is “genuinely happy for Jen” and wants to see her find the right partner. “He’s joked that he’ll reserve judgment until they meet,” the insider said, “but he trusts Jen’s taste.”
