Pakistan Prepares Mineral Investment Forum 2026 as Major Global Investment Platform

Pakistan is gearing up to host the Mineral Investment Forum 2026 as a major platform for global investment in the mining sector, with diplomatic channels being activated to ensure strong international participation.

Petroleum Minister Ali Pervez Malik held a key meeting with Pakistani ambassadors posted abroad ahead of the forum, which will take place in Islamabad on April 8–9, 2026.

Malik said the 2026 forum aims to be the largest global investment platform for the minerals sector. Last year, the forum attracted over 5,000 delegates from more than 50 countries.

He added that 14 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed with international mining companies during the previous forum. Building on that success, this year’s event will be held on an even larger scale.
