Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Strengthens Pakistan-China Ties During High-Level Meetings in China
Islamabad :Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, continued his high-level engagements with China’s top political leadership, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to deepening bilateral ties and regional cooperation.
During his visit, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq met with Wang Huning, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), where both leaders discussed key regional and global issues, emphasizing the importance of strong diplomatic and economic collaboration.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen the Pakistan-China strategic partnership, reaffirming their commitment to joint projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The Speaker reiterated Pakistan’s full support for the One-China policy and praised President Xi Jinping’s global initiatives.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also highlighted Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding Chinese citizens and shared interests in Pakistan, while Chairman Wang Huning emphasized the importance of 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship and pledged to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
The leaders agreed to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties by expanding practical collaboration in multiple sectors, reinforcing the enduring partnership between the two nations.
