Saudi French model Amira Al Zuhair shines at Jacquemus Paris show
DUBAI: Saudi French model Amira Al-Zuhair celebrated her first fashion show of 2026 by walking the runway at Jacquemus’ Fall/Winter 2026 “Le Palmier” collection in Paris on Sunday. The show, held at the Musee National Picasso, showcased Simon Porte Jacquemus’s latest co-ed designs featuring playful, sculptural silhouettes that blend mid-century couture influences with 1990s sensibilities.
Taking to Instagram, Al-Zuhair wrote, “Merci infiniment Simon. It was an honor to be part of this iconic show with such an amazing team, congratulations! Thank you for having me.” She closed a segment of the show in an ensemble reflecting the collection’s balance of elegance and bold form: a black midi skirt paired with a structured blazer featuring a cutout at the back, cinched with a wide belt, and a wide-brimmed hat for dramatic effect.
The Jacquemus presentation, which served as the finale of Paris Men’s Fashion Week, combined confetti-like motifs and geometric forms while celebrating joie de vivre, highlighting the designer’s playful yet refined vision. The front row included Elton John, Sophie Marceau, Josh Hartnett, and Korean girl group Illit.
Al-Zuhair capped off a strong 2025 by joining Italian luxury label Bulgari as a “Friend of the House.” Sharing the news on social media, she said, “I am delighted to announce that I have officially joined the Bulgari family as a Friend of the House. Looking forward to sharing more of our journey together — stay tuned!”
She also appeared at a Bulgari event celebrating the Polychroma High Jewelry Collection, wearing a soft pink gown by Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika.
Born in Paris to a French mother and Saudi father, Al-Zuhair has walked for renowned fashion houses including Missoni, Maison Alaia, Brunello Cucinelli, Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Giambattista Valli, Giorgio Armani, and Elie Saab. She has also appeared in campaigns for Prada, Chanel, and Carolina Herrera, cementing her position in the global fashion scene.
