Military Action Against Iran Should Be Avoided, Trump Says
United States President Donald Trump has said that while American naval forces have been deployed toward Iran, he hopes military action will not be necessary, signaling a preference for restraint and continued diplomacy amid rising regional tensions.
Speaking to journalists, President Trump stated that several large and powerful U.S. naval vessels are currently moving in the direction of Iran, but emphasized that he does not want the situation to escalate into military confrontation. He expressed hope that the crisis could be managed without the use of force.
The U.S. president reaffirmed Washington’s intention to maintain diplomatic engagement with Tehran, noting that talks have taken place in the past and that further dialogue is planned in the future.

In a broader geopolitical context, Trump also warned of the risks associated with deepening economic ties with China. He described business cooperation between China and the United Kingdom as “highly dangerous,” cautioning that expanding trade relations with Beijing could pose serious strategic risks for London.
He further stated that such cooperation would be even more dangerous for Canada, urging U.S. allies to exercise caution in strengthening commercial and economic relations with China.
Commenting on Cuba, President Trump expressed his belief that the current Cuban government would not be able to sustain itself in the long term, adding to his critical stance on Havana’s leadership.
