Hina Afridi Shares Why She Chose ‘Raja Rani’ Over Other Dramas

Pakistani actress Hina Afridi has revealed that she turned down several popular television drama offers at different stages of her career.

Speaking during a recent interview, the actress discussed her journey in the entertainment industry and the decisions she has made regarding drama roles. She disclosed that she was offered multiple hit projects but chose to decline them.

Hina Afridi said that when she was offered the drama Raja Rani, she simultaneously received offers for three dramas, and she had to select only one project. The dramas included Iqtadar, Behroopia, and Raja Rani.

Explaining her decision, the actress said she did not want to portray a stereotypical crying female character. She added that Raja Rani appealed to her the most because it presented a strong female character who was fearless, stood up to men, and was shown asserting herself confidently.

During the interview, Hina Afridi also expressed her desire to portray an army officer in the future, stating that she has a keen interest in wearing a khaki sari as part of such a role.
