Pakistan Expresses Solidarity with Syria After Deadly Flash Floods

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has expressed deep condolences to the Government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic following the loss of lives and widespread damage caused by recent flash floods in north-west Syria.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan said the floods, particularly in the regions of Idlib and Latakia, resulted in significant human and material losses. The government conveyed its sympathy to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the natural disaster.

The statement said Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Syrian government and people during this difficult time and reaffirmed its support and prayers for the victims.
