Pakistan Forces Respond Firmly to Aggression
Pakistan’s security forces delivered an immediate and effective response to cross-border aggression, according to a statement issued by the spokesperson for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
In a post on X, the prime minister’s spokesperson for foreign media, Musharraf Zaidi, said that any further provocation would be met with a swift and firm response. He emphasized that Pakistan remains fully committed to protecting its citizens and defending its territorial integrity.
PM Spokesperson Warns Against Further Provocation
According to security sources, the clashes occurred at three separate points along the border. The exchange of fire continued for approximately one hour. All personnel of the Pakistan Army remained safe during the incident.
Sources further stated that during the retaliatory action, an Afghan forces’ check post was targeted and completely destroyed. No casualties were reported among Pakistani troops.

The prime minister’s spokesperson reiterated that any additional escalation would trigger an immediate and decisive reaction. “God willing, Pakistan will continue to safeguard its citizens and defend its territorial integrity,” he said.
