Iranian Media Shares Khamenei’s Final Message

Iranian media has shared on social media what it described as the final message of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was reported killed in recent US and Israeli strikes.

Senior Officials Reported Killed in Strikes

According to Iranian outlets, Ayatollah Khamenei had stated that the Iranian nation understands its Islamic teachings well and knows what course of action to take. The message was presented as a reflection of resolve and faith amid escalating tensions.

Alongside the statement, Iranian media also cited a well-known quote attributed to Husayn ibn Ali, in which he declared that a person like him could not pledge allegiance to someone like Yazid. The inclusion of the quote was framed as symbolic in the context of the current situation.

Quote Reflects Call for Resolve and Faith

Earlier, Iranian state media confirmed the death of Ayatollah Khamenei in US and Israeli attacks, announcing seven days of nationwide holidays and a 40-day period of mourning across Iran.

In addition to the Supreme Leader, state media reported that his daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter were also killed in the strikes. Senior officials were likewise reported among the casualties, including his top adviser Ali Shamkhani, the country’s defense minister, and the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

State Media Confirms Seven Days of Mourning

The reports underscore the scale of the losses described by Iranian media, as the country continues to observe an official period of mourning following the announcement.
