Information Minister Rejects Pahalgam Incident Evidence, Citing Staged Operation

Minister Tarar Denounces Lack of Credible Evidence in Pahalgam Incident

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar stated on Wednesday that one year has passed since the Pahalgam incident, which he characterized as a “false flag operation,” without India presenting any credible evidence. In a special televised statement, the Minister asserted that the incident reflects a mindset driven by illogical thinking and arrogance. He noted that India has failed to provide satisfactory answers to the international community’s questions. According to Tarar, New Delhi consistently misrepresents internal terrorism as external issues while dismissing internationally recognized disputes, such as the Jammu and Kashmir issue, as domestic matters.

Islamabad Claims Pahalgam Incident Followed Pattern of Staged Operations

The Information Minister noted that the Pahalgam incident follows a familiar historical pattern of “false flag operations” associated with Indian state policy. Tarar pointed out significant anomalies, including the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) within ten minutes of the event, which he argued suggests the document was prepared in advance. He emphasized that when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif offered an independent, impartial investigation, India avoided the inquiry. This refusal, Tarar stated, confirms Pakistan’s view that the operation was staged to construct a fabricated narrative for global consumption.

Indian Media Criticized for Spreading Fabricated War Narratives

Attaullah Tarar criticized the Indian media for fostering a “war-like atmosphere” and disseminating baseless news regarding regional security. He stated that the constructed narratives built around false flag operations are difficult to sustain globally and have ultimately exposed India’s true face. The Minister added that Indian civil society, international media, and various think tanks have joined in raising serious questions about the transparency of India’s official account. By failing to establish a convincing narrative, India has reportedly found itself increasingly isolated on the global stage regarding its claims of cross-border involvement.

Pakistan Cites Undeniable Evidence of Foreign-Backed Terrorism

Addressing broader security concerns, the Minister reaffirmed that Islamabad possesses undeniable evidence of Indian involvement in terrorist activities inside Pakistan. He cited specific incidents, including the Jaffar Express train attack and the Khuzdar incident, as clear examples of state-sponsored destabilization efforts. Tarar mentioned that elements such as the BLA and TTP are being utilized to target Pakistan’s security. He noted that evidence regarding these activities, as well as the arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav, has been shared with the international community to expose India’s use of terrorism as a state policy.

Strategic Success and National Unity Under Integrated Leadership

Minister Tarar highlighted Pakistan’s decisive victory in “Marka-e-Haq,” stating that the country emerged as a symbol of peace while India continues to deal with its losses. He credited the tireless efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for the country’s current stability and unified defense posture. Tarar warned that any future military misadventure by India would be met with an immediate and decisive response. He emphasized that the entire nation is united in its resolve to eradicate terrorism and will not compromise on national sovereignty or dignity.

Human Rights and International Accountability in Focus

The Minister raised significant human rights concerns, alleging that minorities in India are being systematically deprived of their rights under the Hindutva ideology. He referred to evidence of the targeted killings of Sikh leaders in various countries as further indication of the involvement of the Indian state in extrajudicial activities. Tarar concluded by stating that Pakistan has emerged as a bright and united nation with a strong resolve among the comity of nations. He prayed for the continued prosperity and stability of the country as it continues its successful operations against regional security challenges.
